Scope and purpose

This policy covers the website at reboxreturn.live. Data is processed to operate and secure the website, to answer enquiries, and to handle voluntary contributions to the RE:BOX project.

Server and access data

When you visit the site, the hosting and infrastructure providers may technically log access data such as IP address, date and time of the request, the requested URL, browser and device information, and the referrer. This data is used for operation, stability, troubleshooting and security.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we process the content of your message and your contact details in order to respond to and handle your request.

Contributions and payments

This website does not process payments itself. It links to the external payment providers Stripe and PayPal. Payment data is generally entered directly with those providers, who process it as independent controllers under their own privacy policies and terms.

RE:BOX may receive transaction-related information from the payment provider, such as name, email address, amount, status, timestamp and a transaction reference, in order to record and administer contributions.

Hosting and technical providers

The website is built and hosted using Lovable and its associated cloud infrastructure. These providers process technical data on our behalf to deliver the site. We do not list further subprocessors here that we cannot confirm.

International transfers

Service providers may process data in Switzerland, the EEA, the United States or other countries. Where a country does not provide an adequate level of data protection under Swiss law, appropriate safeguards may be used where required, such as recognized contractual safeguards.

Cookies and tracking

RE:BOX currently does not use its own marketing or analytics trackers and does not set non-essential cookies on this website. For this reason, no cookie-consent banner is shown. If this changes, this policy will be updated and any consent required by law will be obtained beforehand.

Retention

Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose or for contractual, legal, accounting, dispute-handling or security reasons, and is then deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

Your rights

Under the Swiss FADP you may, within the limits of the law, request information about the data we process, ask for correction, request deletion where applicable, and object to or request restriction of certain processing. Please contact us at the email address above.

You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB) where applicable.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No transmission over the internet or method of storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

External links

Links to external sites, including payment providers, lead to services with their own privacy practices, for which we are not responsible.

Updates

This policy may be updated as the project develops. The current version applies.
